Oh Deer!!

Yes, that's right, the ROUS's (Rodents Of Unusual Size) are here (we counted 5 of them) & showing themselves today… this is the first time we've seen the deer hanging around during the day, but as you'll see in the pictures below they seem to be very comfortable hanging around in our woods… on a snowy day… they are beautiful!!  There have been bunnies hanging around with them too, but I stayed inside so I wouldn't frighten them away - so I didn't get close shots or ones that included the bunnies.  I think I need a sign for my woods that says "Bambi & Thumper's Residence"… enjoy!!

Yes, that's right… I've got blooms on yet another plant and we've still got lots of snow on the ground outside…

This little plant is about 5 times the size it was when I got it as part of a Sympathy basket… and much to my delight I discovered...

It's Blooming!!! Teeny-tiny blooms, but blooms never-the-less!!

Now if I only knew what kind of plant this was….  Thanks to a pal on Pinterest (thanks Susan Lawrence) I now know it's called a Freckle Face… what a cute name for such a cute plant!!
